I just recently moved into this area and I was worried very much about not find my trusted butcher’s as I do like to support locals and buy a good product, so since the first walk in I was impressed about how much choice you have , and also they have sauces fresh eggs and cheeses! If you love meat good products quality and a friendly professional service is a MUST that you should walk in and buy some of this stuff to try out !!

We have been buying our Christmas turkeys here from the year dot and wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. Also excellent for summer BBQ meats of all sorts as well as Sunday roast joints & whole chickens etc. Always happy to provide advice on meat portion size. Don’t be shy to ask for cooking advice - nothing is too much effort for the staff.

Everyone is so friendly and polite. Really good and tasty meat. Sauces etc available too. We often buy our BBQ meat here. Variety of meats on offer is very good. The filet steak is excellent. Easy enough parking. Would highly recommend.

Best weekend for a long time after shopping here! Amazing bacon & sausages best I have ever eaten. Am looking forward to the smoked pork chops. Very friendly staff, amazing produce and the deli was great too try the scotch pies! Yum. My new butcher for sure,be back again soon. Treated myself to a beautiful sirloin cooked on bbq after being Oak smoked.

Visited for the first time yesterday. Staff are friendly and helpful. The meat isn't the cheapest you can get but what I bought was great quality and I think good value because of that. I will definitely buy from there again. The quality of the product bears not comparison with water pumped supermarket stuff. Obviously I understand that especially these days we can't always afford to buy the best quality stuff but I'd rather eat meat less often and get nice stuff when I do

In Prince & Son one can buy top quality meat served by friendly butchers, who know their trade. You can park right outside the door. Afterwards you can cross the road to Boz to buy excellent fruit and veg, then go next door to the Co-op for any other food shopping.

Popped in for something for a Sunday roast. The lads quckly selected a lovely joint. The finished roast was exceptional in taste and texture including 5 star crackling. Very pleased and highly recommended. Will be back.

A very big thank you to the team at Princes for providing us with top quality meat. We are a team who provide a Sunday Lunch once a month for 50 to 60 elderly people. Princes have been cooking and slicing joints of beef, lamb, turkey and pork for some of these events over the past few years. We always get so many compliments on the meat and the cooks are so pleased to have this part of the meal sorted!
Last Sunday the pork loin was fabulous! What a superb team of butchers!
